In 1897, Gustav Croll and Theodor Denecke decided to import raw natural sponges from the Greek Mediterranean to Bremen and refine them by hand. This tradition continues today — but the product range has expanded to include sustainable spa and household products. Peter, Nina, and Sara Hankiewicz represent the third and fourth generations in the enterprise. The mission: sustainable skin and body care products with a good conscience and in harmony with nature.
Family and business? Some say the two do not go together. At Croll & Denecke, it is different. The third and fourth generations work successfully hand in hand — for a long time even under one roof. This dynamic allows many years of experience to meet new ideas and impulses, moving the company forward — and constantly improving products and working methods.
