Bee Squared Apiaries Rose Petal Infused Honey is the first Good Food Award winning honey in the state. Biodynamic rose petals from Happy Heart Farm CSA in Fort Collins are gently stirred into the alfalfa/wildflower honey and left to infuse for the summer. The result is a subtle rose scented and flavored utterly delicious honey. It is simply stunning with a warm brie or goat cheese, and great on ice cream.
Try it drizzled on whipped cream topped hot cocoa, too. A rare honey that is limited by the amount of rose petals that can be harvested annually. Get it while you can!

Bee Squared Apiaries is a small beekeeping operation located in Berthoud, CO. They have 125 hives in various locations in Weld, Larimer, and Boulder counties. They began beekeeping some 20 years ago after reading a series of newspaper columns on beekeeping by my friend, Tom Theobald. They have always been a bit “buggy”. They collected insects as a 4H project in both Maryland and New Mexico and the collection still hangs in the front hallway. Tom’s articles inspired Bee Squared Apiaries to take a beekeeping class and the rest, as they say, is history. Bee Squared now has two Good Food Award winners: rose petal infused and whiskey barrel-aged, and we have offer many more specialty flavors along with other bee products.
