The rich version of the mango butter cream remains true to the same principles: with its fine molecular texture and natural lipids from Caribbean flora, the cream has a lipid structure similar to that of our skin. It is also enriched with additional lipids, nutrients and active substances from the mango, calendula oil, shea butter, avocado oil and coconut oil. Used as a night cream or on the skin around the eyes, it provides maximum moisture and pampering for even the driest of skin types.
Enriched Mango Butter Cream is created using an expert technique by the LIGNE ST BARTH laboratory. The laboratory has mastered the art of producing an emulsion without the use of conventional emulsifiers and synthetic preservatives, by using fatty acids, ceramides and plant-derived phospholipids. The physical and chemical process reproduces the membrane structure of the skins natural barrier. This type of emulsion intrinsically encourages the absorption of the benefits of the ingredients and is better tolerated, particularly by dehydrated and fragile skin.
The shea butter, plant-derived squalane and avocado oil included in the formula reinforce the nourishing, moisturizing and protective properties of the mango butter. Shea is also reputed to be regenerative and softening, while calendula extract is soothing and vitamin E helps prevent ageing. The coconut oil prevents dehydration, while nourishing and softening the epidermis.

It is widely cultivated in the Caribbean for its fleshy fruit that is rich in vitamin C and has a sweet, aromatic flavour. The very juicy flesh surrounds a flat, smooth stone, in the middle of which is a large almond that contains a creamy, yellowy fat known as mango butter. This precious oily substance, obtained by cold-pressing the stone, boasts emollient virtues.
