Inspired by the light of a sunny day in the south of France, Nathalie Lorson has composed an optimistic and reassuring fragrance. A larger than life fig illuminated by a duo of juicy citrus mandarin and clementine. The floral heart, composed of freesia and orange blossom, meets the aromatic breath of Sri Lankan black tea.

About the Perfumer
Nathalie Lorson grew up in Grasse, where her father was a chemist at Roure, the world-renowned fragrance house. Her first scent-memory is of a field of mimosa that she discovered on a family vacation to Greece. She’s something of a pioneer, she recalls, “In 1980, very few women entered the perfumery field, and I knew I had a real challenge ahead of me!” Nathalie’s signature is evident in her penchant for raw materials that are round, smooth and sensual, and she loves to work with musky notes and vetiver and rose . She is motivated by her travels, especially to Japan, which is currently her key inspiration, and she has a true passion for research: molecules, accords and new olfactory territories. She says she dreams of everything that has not yet been discovered! Her many dozens of creations include masterpieces for Lalique, Gucci, Le Labo, Bentley, Kate Moss, Lady Gaga, and Dita Von Teese, and she is one of a quartet of perfumers at the fragrance house Firmenich who worked on YSL’s Black Opium.
