Caroline Greyl wanted a rich conditioner for colored hair that easily detangled damaged tresses while protecting the hue and eliminating frizz. Her husband, R&D director David Thomas Brooks, was happy to deliver Crème de Soin à l’Amarante, a botanically-based formula infused with extract of amaranth, a flower that never fades. In the process, he also innovated a preservative-free system and an ingenious high-tech airless tube. After shampooing, towel-dry the hair and apply section by section, working the cream into the length and ends. Leave on for 2 to 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
